Dhofar: The United Nations has expressed concern over the decline in humanitarian aid to Gaza and its impact on the safety and well-being of Palestinians across the occupied West Bank, particularly children, noting that Israeli forces continue to kill children in Gaza. According to Oman News Agency, UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric emphasized that child killings are a fresh reminder that Palestinians in the occupied West Bank must be protected under international law, and that perpetrators must be held accountable. The UN Human Rights Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory reported the death of a four-month-old infant after Israeli soldiers refused to open a gate blocking the main entrance to his village west of Ramallah, delaying his access to urgent medical care. Ajith Sunghay, Director of the UN Human Rights Office in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, stated that the case reflects the occupying power's continued disregard for the humanity and rights of Palestinians under occupation. In Gaza, th e UN continued over the weekend to collect food and fuel from the Karam Abu Salem crossing. Dujarric noted that quantities brought into Gaza remain limited due to the closure of all other crossings and restrictions on specific supplies. Data from the UN Mechanism 2720 showed a decline in the total volume of supplies brought in by the UN and its partners last month, falling to fewer than 42,000 pallets, compared with about 46,600 in May.
