President Macron condemned the bombings over the past two days, which caused hundreds of casualties, expressing solidarity and sympathy with Lebanon during this difficult time. Macron urged all parties to exercise restraint and avoid escalation, emphasizing that it would lead to no resolution. In turn, PM Mikati thanked Macron for his support and called for a firm stance against Israeli aggression at the UN Security Council meeting, scheduled at Lebanon's request.
