The united states: On Saturday, the United States issued a cautionary advisory urging American citizens to consider leaving West Asia if tensions and hostilities in the region continue to intensify, Anadolu Ajansi reported. According to Nam News Network, security alerts were disseminated by the US embassies in Jordan and Iraq, as well as the US Consulate General in Erbil, northern Iraq. These advisories conveyed the need for Americans to exercise caution and remain vigilant, as they might face flight cancellations, periodic airspace closures, and potential travel disruptions. The alerts emphasized that Americans currently in West Asia should be prepared for such eventualities. Moreover, US embassies advised Americans outside of West Asia to reconsider any travel plans to or through the region. The alerts highlighted the possibility that Iran and groups supportive of it could target other US interests abroad, describing the situation in West Asia as highly fluid. In a specific advisory, the US Embassy in Am man urged all Americans to avoid traveling to military bases in Jordan, stressing the importance of monitoring official warnings and adhering to instructions from Jordanian authorities. The advisory was issued amid escalating tensions between the US and Iran. CBS News reported that, according to officials, Washington is contemplating new strikes on Iran over the weekend. Earlier on Saturday, incidents were reported including Kuwait intercepting Iranian drones targeting a government facility and civilian vehicles, and an unknown projectile striking a tanker off the coast of Oman near the Strait of Hormuz. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in these incidents.
