MP Ibrahim Mneimneh said in a statement on the anniversary of the Beirut port explosion on August 4 that "some may be frustrated by the lack of justice after 4 years of the Beirut port explosion crime, but this stagnation is due to the system's inability to turn the truth around and because of the insistence of a political, judicial and popular movement to achieve justice and retribution against those responsible for the crime of the century." Mneimneh added: "The battle is not over. We want equality and our right to justice and the rule of law under the sovereignty of the state, and we will continue to struggle for that no matter how powerful the system's parties and their henchmen are...!"
