Doha: The players of Oman Women's National Basketball Team are preparing to take part in the 2026 Gulf Games, which will be hosted by the Qatari capital, Doha, during 11-22 May. According to Oman News Agency, the team is continuing its preparations by holding an external training camp in the Republic of Cyprus during 4-10 May, as part of efforts to enhance technical and physical readiness, strengthen team cohesion, and equip the players with new competitive skills. During the tournament, the national team will face fellow Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) teams. Oman aims to deliver strong competitive performances and achieve positive results that reflect the progress of women's basketball in the Sultanate of Oman.
