Muscat:The working team responsible for drafting the 'Family Protection Law' convened for its initial meeting. The session was led by Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al Najjar, the Minister of Social Development and Chairperson of the National Committee for Family Affairs.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was part of national efforts to strengthen the family protection system and enhance legislative frameworks governing family affairs.
The team examined plans for drafting the 'Family Protection Law' with the aim of fulfilling the statute's intended objectives. This initiative underscores the Ministry of Social Development's dedication to formulating policies that support families, improve the legal protection system, and uphold public rights and social stability.
