Khasab: A workshop titled "Identifying Strategic Risks in Musandam Governorate" was held today in the Wilayat of Khasab, aimed at strengthening the governorate's strategic vision and supporting its developmental goals through efficient and effective risk management. According to Oman News Agency, the workshop covered several key themes, including an introduction to strategic risks and their significance, where fundamental concepts and their role in long-term planning were discussed. It also featured a phase dedicated to identifying strategic risks, focusing on methodologies for recognizing risks with broad impacts on the governorate. Practical applications were incorporated, involving interactive exercises to apply scientific frameworks in risk analysis and assessment. Additionally, interactive working sessions contributed to formulating a unified vision to address future challenges. The workshop was held under the patronage of Sayyid Ibrahim Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam. It was attended by repres entatives of government units, directors-general, members of the Shura and Municipal Councils, military commanders, and risk management experts.
