Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, today received copies of credentials from the ambassadors-designate of Vietnam and Belarus to the Sultanate of Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, the undersecretary first received Hoang Huu Anh, the Ambassador-designate of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. During the meeting, Sheikh Khalifa wished the ambassador success in his new role and expressed hopes for further progress and growth in the bilateral relations between Oman and Vietnam. The meeting included the presence of Najib Yahya Al Balushi, Head of the Protocol Department, Sheikh Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department, among other officials from the Foreign Ministry.

In a separate meeting, Sheikh Khalifa also received Yevgeny Sobolevsky, the Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Belarus. Similar to his previous engagement, Sheikh Khalifa conveyed his best wishes to the ambassador for a successful tenure and anticipated enhanced bilateral relations between Oman and Belarus. The meeting was attended by Mundhir Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Head of the Europe Department, along with Najib Yahya Al Balushi and other officials from the Foreign Ministry.
