Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have initiated a sweeping arrest and raid operation across multiple West Bank governorates, leading to the arrest of 15 Palestinians. This large-scale action involved searching homes and detaining individuals in various regions.
According to Oman News Agency, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that of the 15 Palestinians apprehended, six were taken into custody in Ramallah. The raids extended to Bethlehem, where two more individuals were arrested, while another individual, previously a captive, was detained in the Silwan district of Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds).
The operation further saw six additional arrests and the detention of numerous others in Al-Khalil, with the detainees including an elderly individual. The IOF’s activities included setting up a military checkpoint in the Nashash area, south of Bethlehem, where they conducted vehicle searches, ID checks, and caused traffic disruptions. These actions are part of an ongoing strategy by the Israeli occupation to intimidate Palestinians, restrict their movement, and target activists and former captives.
