The occupation police close Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem – Ma’an – On Tuesday afternoon, the Israeli occupation police closed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, and prevented anyone from entering to perform the noon prayer, without giving reasons, and suddenly.

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said that the occupation authorities refuse to allow anyone into Al-Aqsa Mosque, after all its doors were suddenly closed.

The Endowments added: “The occupation has imposed great restrictions on the entry of worshipers into Al-Aqsa Mosque since morning, as only the elderly were allowed to enter.”

She added: “The occupation backed down and refused to allow anyone to enter.” Pointing out that this is the first time that the occupation has closed Al-Aqsa in months.

This morning, dozens of extremist settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque from the direction of the “Maghariba Gate,” which has been under the control of the occupation police since 1967, coinciding with restrictions on worshipers entering Al-Aqsa.

The Sanad News Agency correspondent noted that dozens of settlers carried out provocative rounds and performed Talmudic rituals in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, before leaving the direction of “Bab al-Silsilah.”

She pointed out that the occupation police tightened their military measures in the vicinity of the Old City of Jerusalem, and at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevented students from reaching their schools inside the mosque, obstructed the arrival of worshipers, and allowed only the elderly to enter to pray; Before closing it completely.
