Gansu: Rescue operations have been completed at the landslide site in Tanchang County, Gansu Province in northwestern China, which left 21 dead and seven injured, Chinese authorities said today. According to Oman News Agency, the Longnan city government said in a press conference that those injured and receiving treatment in local hospitals are in stable condition. The landslide struck Renzang village in Nanhe Township, Longnan city, trapping 33 people. Five people were rescued. Following the disaster, Chinese authorities deployed a number of rescue teams to the site, including emergency and firefighting personnel.
