An 80-year-old woman was attacked by three unknown individuals with the intention of stealing from her in the town of Ein Siniya, north of Ramallah. The Public Relations and Media Department of the Police stated that the police received a report of an attempted robbery of a woman's house, where the perpetrators beat her, put a knife to her neck, tied her up, and stole the camera storage device (DVR) with the intention of hiding evidence of the crime. The police added that immediately, a force from the Criminal Evidence Branch in Ramallah moved to the house. Through collecting evidence, one person was suspected, and he was arrested by the Beitunia Police Station, and the police are currently following up on bringing the others. She confirmed that the suspect confessed to committing the crime during his interrogation by the General Investigations Branch in Ramallah, and he was detained and referred to the competent authorities to follow up on the legal procedures against him Source: Maan News Agency
