Muscat, Crew members of vessels taking part the Gulf Naval Exercise (Union 2023) today visited Oman National Hydrographic Office (ONHO).

The teams listened to a briefing about the office, followed by a visual display featuring key roles and tasks undertaken by the ONHO.

ONHO is the department tasked with issuing maritime scripts in electronic and paper forms, maps and publications on all Omani marine areas and water bodies. Its duties also include the conservation of the national hydrographic archive.

ONHO lends support to missions aimed at extending boundaries of Oman’s continental shelf.
