The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments warned against joining any unlicensed Hajj tour operators, or travelling for Hajj alone without a permit to avoid legal consequences for violating regulations and procedures. A statement by the Religious Affairs Directorate of the ministry urged those planning to perform Hajj to follow the regulations and guidelines set by both the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia. The directorate emphasised that performing Hajj is only allowed with a permit issued by the relevant Saudi authorities.
