Minister of Culture, Mohammed Al-Murtada, met with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Thani, where they discussed general affairs and recent developments in the region, in addition to bilateral relations, especially cultural ones. It was agreed to arrange a visit as soon as possible for the Qatari Minister to Lebanon, specifically to the city of Tripoli, which is expected to witness a Qatari cultural week, as part of the Tripoli Capital of Arab Culture event for the year 2024. The meeting also touched on the possibility of achieving cultural twinning between Tripoli and Doha.
