Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, left Beirut today heading to Istanbul, in response to an official invitation from the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs to participate in the 'Consultative Summit of Scholars of the Islamic World'. The summit will tackle what must be done in the face of the challenges and crises that threaten humanity and the unity of the nation, and to work to direct and guide it in these harsh crises and tribulations that we are going through, exploring possible solutions.
