Caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abbas Hajj Hassan, on Thursday welcomed in his office at the ministry, the Director General of Cooperatives, Engineer Gloria Abu Zeid, who briefed him on the preparations made by the General Directorate of Cooperatives for many activities related to revitalizing agricultural cooperative work. Abu Zeid also hailed the recent visit of Minister Hajj Hassan to Cairo, which brought about fruitfui results for the sector. Caretaker Minister Hajj Hassan, in turn, stressed that, 'Achieving food security in general is part of the strategic priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture, and therefore it is an integrated work between all directorates, specifically the General Directorate of Cooperatives.'
