The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants expressed in a statement on Sunday, its 'strong condemnation of Israel's continued systematic aggression against defenseless Palestinian civilians, and its deliberate targeting of shelters for displaced Palestinians, the most recent of which was the massacre committed in the Al-Mawasi displaced persons camp - Khan Yunis, which led to the martyrdom of approximately 90 defenseless women, elderly and children, in addition to dozens of wounded.' The Ministry denounced 'Israel's continued violation of the rules of international humanitarian law and its committing crimes of genocide, in clear defiance of ceasefire efforts," and renewed its call on the international community to "take immediate and effective action to end this unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, and to provide the necessary international protection for the Palestinian people."
