Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, highlighted the growing cooperation between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, led by the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Al Saleh welcomed the implementation of the Local Added Value Program in Industry (Takamul) for Saudi establishments. He emphasised its goals and the role of the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. The Chairman affirmed that the Takamul programme would boost economic growth, enhance trade and investment opportunities, and stimulate innovation in local industrial production in both kingdoms.
