Paris, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), arrived today in France to attend the Paris 2024 Olympics. Accompanying His Highness Shaikh Khalid were His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of GSA; His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Khalifa; His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa; and Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, CEO of GSA. Upon arrival, HH Shaikh Khalid was received by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of BOC; Essam Abdulaziz Al Jassim, Ambassador of Bahrain to France; and Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, Secretary General of BOC. HH Shaikh Khalid expressed his delight in attending this prestigious international sporting event, highlighting the importance of supporting Bahraini athletes participating in the Olympics. HH Shaikh Khalid emphasised the Kingdom's suppor t and interest in the sports sector, highlighting ongoing efforts to enhance the Kingdom's international sports position. HH Shaikh Khalid commended the efforts of the organising committee for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
