The Ministry of Health said that a Palestinian man was killed on Monday night by Israeli colonists in the village of Wadi Rahal, south of Bethlehem. The ministry added in a statement that Khalil Salem Khalawi, 40, died of his wounds from colonists' bullets in the village, while three others were moderately injured. The head of the Wadi Rahal village council, Hamdi Ziada, told WAFA correspondent that colonists attacked citizens' homes near the boys' school, amid live ammunition, which led to the injury of four citizens. Ziadah added that the occupation forces stormed the village to provide protection for the colonists, and fired sound bombs and toxic gas at the citizens, which led to dozens of suffocation cases. It is noteworthy that colonists carried out 1,334 attacks in the West Bank during the first half of this year, which resulted in the killing of 7 Palestinians. With the killing of Khalawi in Bethlehem, the number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, since October 7, 2023, has risen to 651.
