Manama, Sameer Abdullah Nass, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), praised the royal pardon issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which pardoned 457 convicts on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty's Accession. Chairman Nass noted that this gesture reflects Bahrain's commitment to the culture of tolerance, enabling inmates with the opportunity for reintegration into society. Nass highlighted Bahrain's progress in human rights, particularly through rehabilitation programmes such as alternative sanctions, and commended the government's efforts to uphold the rule of law and protect rights.
