Dubai, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, attended the World FZO 10th World Congress, held in Dubai, with the participation of a group of global business leaders and free zone officials, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai, under the theme 'Zones And The Shifting Global Economic Structures - Unlocking New Investment Avenues' Fakhro participated in the meeting alongside a number of ministers and discussed the importance of utilizing AI and modern technology in promoting global trade and achieving sustainable and comprehensive development. On the sidelines of the conference, the minister met with Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Mohammed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, the UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, and Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation. Fakhro stressed the depth of relations and cooper ation between Bahrain and the UAE, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates. The World FZO 10th World Congress discusses the top priorities of the free zone sector, with the participation of representatives from more than 100 countries, and in the presence of more than 2,000 global business leaders and officials. This year, the annual event coincides with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the World FZO, with the participation of some of the most important experts, specialists and decision-makers in the fields of free zones, logistics, and investments.
