House Speaker, Nabih Berri, received on Wednesday at his Ain-el-Tineh residence, a delegation from the National Moderation Bloc, which included MPs Ahmad Al-Kheir, Walid Al-Baarini, Mohammad Sleiman, Sajih Attieh, Abdul Aziz Al-Samad, and Ahmad Rustom, and the Bloc's Secretary, former MP Hadi Hobeich. The latest political and field developments, the issue of displaced persons and the presidential election dossier were presented. On emerging, Attieh said that the delegation came to offer condolences for the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and all the martyrs, and to show solidarity and affirm national unity in these difficult days and the challenge resulting from the criminal aggression against Lebanon. Attieh also stressed: "Today, what is required is national unity before any other issue, and we must all stand together in the face of this fierce enemy." The delegation also discussed with the Speaker the issue of the displaced people. Speaker Berri later received in Ain El-Tineh, a delegation of the "Independent Consultative Parliamentary Gathering" which included Vice Speaker, Elias Bou Saab, and MPs: Ibrahim Kanaan, Alain Aoun, Simon Abi Ramia, Michel Daher and Neemat Frem. Discussions touched on the current situation in the country and the latest developments, as well as national affairs.
