Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today lost 29.3 points, comprising a drop by 0.62% to close at 4718.17 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4747.43 points. According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today stood at RO 8,126,182, comprising a rise by 28.9%, compared to the last session, which stood at RO 6,304,339. The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went down by 0.218% to reach about RO 27.34 billion. The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 542,000, comprising 6.67%. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 3,524,000, comprising 43.37%. The net non-Omani investment decreased by 36.70% to RO 2,982,000.
