Manama: Members of the Hope Network held a discussion session with participants from the national project Lamae (Bright) and the Bahraini Youth Ambassadors programme. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, attended the discussion. According to Bahrain News Agency, participants from the Lamae project presented an overview of the initiative, which aims to cultivate promising young leaders and build a strong, nationally aware talent base prepared to excel across sectors. Key project outcomes and positive impacts on youth empowerment were also reviewed. Participants from the Bahraini Youth Ambassadors programme gave a brief on their initiative, which seeks to develop the skills and capacities of Bahraini youth to represent the Kingdom effectively at regional and international events. The programme also provides opportunities for young people to engage with peers from different countries to exchange experiences. The session focused on youth roles in developing various sectors and the importance o f empowering youth to implement innovations that contribute to sustainability and development in their countries.
