Muscat: The technical committee of the National Digital Economy Programme convened its second meeting of 2024, chaired by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications. The meeting included representatives from relevant government departments. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on implementing recommendations from the committee's initial session. It also involved a review of the first and second semi-annual reports of the National Digital Economy Programme, which are to be presented to the Council of Ministers. Additionally, the meeting outlined a strategic plan for the National Digital Economy Programme for the period between 2026 and 2030.
