Muscat: Google has announced that NotebookLM's Video Overviews will now be available in 80 languages.

According to Oman News Agency, Google stated, "Today we're announcing two key updates to NotebookLM: Video Overviews are now available in 80 languages globally, and we're significantly upgrading all Audio Overviews to be more comprehensive and in-depth. Non-English Audio Overviews will now mirror the rich, detailed experience of the English version, providing a more thorough discussion of your sources in all of the supported languages."

Overviews in NotebookLM serve as summaries of users' notebook contents, offering a deeper understanding of the material. They enable users to quickly grasp the key concepts from their sources, thus allowing more time for learning and creativity rather than sifting through information.

Last month, Google introduced Video Overviews in NotebookLM, offering a dynamic way to present a notebook's content through video. This feature is now expanding to over 80 new languages.

"Whether you're a student reviewing hours of lecture footage to prepare for a final exam, a researcher sifting through a dense academic presentation for key findings, or a curious mind trying to learn a new skill from a complex DIY tutorial, Video Overviews provide a concise, easy-to-understand video in your preferred language," the company explained.

These updates are now available to all users and are rolling out globally over the coming week.
