Bahla: The Al Ma'mura Public Park development project will be inaugurated tomorrow in the Wilayat of Bahla, A'Dakhiliyah Governorate. This is one of the development projects aimed at enhancing green spaces and providing integrated recreational facilities to meet family needs, with a cost exceeding RO 209 thousand. According to Oman News Agency, the project comes within the framework of the Governorate's efforts to develop public spaces and improve the quality of life in communities. It represents a qualitative addition to the urban infrastructure in the Wilayat. It includes the creation of vast green areas, paved walking paths, and the planting of diverse trees and shrubs that enhance the aesthetic appeal of the park, along with the installation of shades, benches, and multiple service facilities, allowing visitors to enjoy a safe and suitable space for family recreation. The project also involves allocating an investment land plot of 10,000 square meters adjacent to the park. This is intended to boost the tourism and recreational aspect in the Wilayat and attract qualitative investment projects that serve visitors and support commercial and service activities related to the park and its surroundings, in line with the tourism development directions in A'Dakhiliyah Governorate. Eng. Sulaiman Hamad Al Sunaidi, Director General of A'Dakhiliyah Municipality, stated that the Al Ma'mura Park development project is part of a package of municipal projects being implemented by the Governorate to improve the urban environment and provide service facilities with modern standards that suit the needs of the community. He noted that the park will serve as an important recreational spot for families and a suitable location for social and recreational events. He explained that the project is consistent with the Governorate's aim to support sustainable urban development, by observing environmental standards in the park's design, in addition to providing pedestrian-friendly paths and spaces that allow visitors to engage in spo rts and various activities in a safe environment. The Director General of A'Dakhiliyah Municipality indicated that the Municipality will work in the coming period on preparing and paving the park's entrance and parking lots to raise the level of municipal services and provide more diverse recreational facilities for citizens and visitors. The Al Ma'mura Public Park project is considered an extension of A'Dakhiliyah Governorate's efforts to strengthen the infrastructure of the tourism and recreational sector and create an attractive environment for citizens and visitors.
