Muscat: HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, along with members of the Council of Ministers, hosted Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, and members of the Council's Office at the Council's building today. This meeting was held as part of the framework established by the Council of Oman Law, aimed at enhancing cooperation and coordination among the Council of Ministers, the Council of Oman, and other state institutions.
According to Oman News Agency, His Highness praised the State Council's efforts in various areas, noting the importance of its views and proposals in advancing national work towards development. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the State Council and the Council's Office members expressed their gratitude for the government's continuous efforts to foster constructive cooperation. They highlighted their commitment to presenting specialized studies and proposals, and enhancing coordination between the two councils to implement developmental plans and programs that align with national aspirations.
The meeting focused on unifying efforts and enhancing institutional partnerships to implement state policy and achieve the targets of the Eleventh Five-Year Development Plan (2026-2030). The discussions aimed to preserve the achievements across Oman and serve the nation and its citizens under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.
