Oman, Venezuela Emphasize Dialogue, Diplomacy, Respect for International Law

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, received a phone call from Yv¡n Gil Pinto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela. During their conversation, the two ministers discussed the latest developments concerning Venezuela and highlighted the importance of respecting international law while pursuing dialogue and diplomacy to protect the autonomy, independence, and territorial integrity of nations.

According to Oman News Agency, the Venezuelan Minister expressed his country's appreciation for Oman's steadfast positions and its advocacy for security and peace in Venezuela, as well as for peaceful coexistence among nations. In response, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi expressed his appreciation for the current level of bilateral relations and welcomed Venezuela's intention to establish a resident embassy in Muscat. He noted the positive impact such a move would have on enhancing cooperation and supporting trade and economic partnership opportunities between the two countries and their peoples.
