Sanad Centers 2nd Forum Focuses on Sustainability, Quality of Digital Transition

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion today organized the second forum of 'Sanad Service Centres' in Muscat. The forum discussed public-private sector partnerships aimed at raising the efficiency of Sanad services and improving beneficiary experience.

According to Oman News Agency, the opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri, Head of Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, with the presence of Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, along with government officials and owners of Sanad Service Centers.

The ceremony included two visual presentations. The first outlined Sanad Centers' 20-year experience in providing services to government and private establishments. The second presentation highlighted the Ministry's efforts in developing Sanad Centers and affirming their presence in the community.

The forum also witnessed the signing of five cooperation programs, inked by Sanad Centers with government and private establishments. These cooperation programs aim to enhance partnerships and support the transition toward a more efficient business environment.

The cooperation programs focus on linking the services of various entities to the electronic portal of Sanad Service Centers, including the Unified National Portal for E-government Services, the Supreme Judiciary Council services, the Development Bank services, Bank Dhofar services, and Aqari-Frontech Platform services.

The ceremony also featured the launch of an on-the-job training initiative to generate more than 1,000 employment opportunities for Omani youth. Additionally, it saw the introduction of the 'Sanad Centers Excellence Award' in the governorates, the launch of the Munjiz Card, and the Sanad Centers Classification Initiative.
