Oman Participates in 43rd Meeting of Arab Interior Ministers Council

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman today took part in the 43rd meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. At the meeting, held via video-conferencing, the Sultanate of Oman was represented by Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior.

According to Oman News Agency, the ministers reviewed the latest developments in the region and the related security implications. They emphasized the necessity of enhancing cooperation and unifying efforts among Arab countries to address these challenges effectively.

The meeting's agenda was focused on developing the system of joint Arab security action and exchanging expertise and information among Arab security departments. This approach is aimed at consolidating joint efforts to ensure regional stability and security.

The meeting was also attended by Maj. Gen Abdullah bin Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in maintaining security operations across the region.
