Damascus: The Sultanate of Oman voiced its condemnation of the attacks targeting the embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Syrian capital, Damascus. Oman stated that this assault represents a violation of international diplomatic norms and breaches conventions that guarantee the inviolability of diplomatic missions and the safety of their employees. According to Oman News Agency, in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman affirmed its 'categorical rejection of such acts that impact the security and safety of diplomatic premises.' The Foreign Ministry's statement emphasized the necessity to respect the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and ensure the protection of diplomatic missions at all times.
