Muscat: The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) today welcomed the declaration of a ceasefire between the United States and Iran. In a statement, the GCC Secretariat General commended the significant efforts made by Pakistan in this regard, as well as those of other regional and international parties calling for an end to the ongoing conflict. According to Oman News Agency, the statement underscored the importance of concerted regional and international efforts to reach a lasting solution that would bring this crisis to an end, thereby ensuring security and stability in the region and the world.
