Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, engaged in discussions at the "Invest Oman" lounge with Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry in Qatar. The talks centered on enhancing economic, commercial, industrial, and investment cooperation between Oman and Qatar.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting reviewed the economic and commercial relations between Oman and Qatar, focusing on expanding cooperation in sectors such as transport, logistics, and modern technologies. The aim is to enhance economic integration and leverage the potential and opportunities available in both countries.
The discussions included strategies to increase mutual investments and encourage private sector partnerships, thereby supporting economic diversification and enhancing the competitiveness of both economies. The ministers emphasized the importance of communication between businesspeople and coordination between relevant entities to develop trade and investment, creating opportunities for investors and joint projects in promising sectors.
Attendees at the meeting included Ibtisam bint Ahmed Al Farooji, Eng. Ghalib bin Said Al Maamari, Eng.
