Jeddah: Oman participated in a scientific seminar organized by the General Secretariat of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), focusing on the themes of youth, cultural diplomacy, and leadership skill development. The seminar, titled "Youth, Cultural Diplomacy, and Leadership Skill Development," aims to enhance communication among Islamic countries on youth-related issues.
According to Oman News Agency, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth emphasized the importance of involving youth in leadership and cultural identity representation. The Ministry's participation aligns with international practices in cultural diplomacy and capacity building, highlighting youth as crucial to leadership creation.
The seminar served as a platform to discuss various themes, particularly the role of youth in cultural diplomacy and leadership skill development. It also explored cooperation mechanisms among Islamic countries to exchange expertise and develop practical initiatives that support youth's cultural presence and leadership capabilities.
During the seminar, the Ministry focused on exchanging ideas and reviewing models and programs that can be adopted within Islamic countries. The aim is to support youth empowerment and enhance their participation in cultural initiatives, as well as in the development of policies and programs relevant to their empowerment.
