MSX 30 Index Records Minor Rise Amid Trading Value Decline

Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index concluded today's session at 7,631.51 points, marking a slight increase of 3.3 points, or 0.04 percent, from the previous session's closure at 7,628.26 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value registered a decline of 7.5 percent, standing at RO 44,033,103 compared to RO 40,962,612 in the last session, as detailed in the MSX's report. Despite the drop in trading value, the market capitalization saw a rise of 0.259 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 39.02 billion.

Non-Omani investors were active, with purchases worth RO 5.021 million, making up 11.40 percent of the total trading value. However, their sales amounted to RO 5.426 million, or 12.32 percent, leading to a net non-Omani investment decrease of RO 405 thousand, or 0.92 percent.
