North a'sharqiyah: The Municipal Council of North A'Sharqiyah Governorate held a meeting focusing on domestic development and public services, including the enhancement of the Rimal A'Sharqiyah tourism area. The council discussed optimizing the governorate's tourism assets and encouraging investment projects.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Mahmoud bin Yahya Al Dhuhli, the Governor of North A'Sharqiyah and head of the Municipal Council. Key discussions included an investment plan for establishing food security and livestock projects in the Wilayat of Sinaw.
The council also addressed challenges with the road connecting the Wilayats of Ibra and Al Mudhaibi and considered installing sign boards to improve access to government institutions and service facilities. Additionally, an initiative to promote afforestation and enhance urban facilities in the governorate was deliberated.
The council emphasized the importance of coordination among government departments to improve decision-making related to public service standards and sustainable economic and tourism development across North A'Sharqiyah.
