Sohar:A conference organized by the Directorate General of Health Services in North Al Batinah was held today, focusing on patient safety and the management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
According to Oman News Agency, the event took place in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate, aiming to enhance public understanding of patient safety concepts and safe management practices for NCDs. The conference also addressed the latest professional trends to improve healthcare quality, manage complications, enhance early detection, and implement pre-emptive therapeutic practices.
Dr. Ahmed Salim Al Mandhari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Planning and Regulation, presided over the conference. The event was attended by Dr. Asmus Hammerich, the World Health Organization's Representative in Oman, along with consultants, physicians, and healthcare professionals from both public and private health sectors in Oman.
