Muscat:The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) organized a symposium titled 'Military Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence' today at Al Murtafaa Camp. The event was held under the patronage of Major General Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, and was attended by senior officers from the RAO, the Ministry of Defense, the Sultan's Armed Forces, as well as specialists, experts, and academics.
According to Oman News Agency, the symposium addressed key themes through various working papers. These included the governance of military education and training, requirements for academic accreditation, and the national AI agenda's role in education and training.
The symposium also highlighted the significance of research and innovation in creating a sustainable training system. The event concluded with a panel discussion among the participants.
