Al Buraimi:Al Buraimi Municipal Council held its eighth periodic meeting of the year, focusing on various service and development topics within the governorate. The meeting was chaired by Sayyid Hamed Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Al Buraimi and Chairman of the Council.
According to Oman News Agency, the Council reviewed reports from its committees and received feedback from relevant authorities regarding the ongoing projects. During the meeting, several key developments were discussed, including the awarding of second-stage tenders for developmental projects and the enhancement of industrial and commercial areas within the governorate.
Additionally, the Council approved a project to continue linking North Al 'Uqdah with Al Buraimi Mahdah road, a move aimed at facilitating transportation and improving traffic flow. A proposal for constructing a footbridge on the highway opposite Ali bin Saif Al Naimi Mosque was also discussed. The footbridge is intended to provide a safe crossing for pedestrians and enhance safety for drivers.
