Barcelona:The Omani National Body Building and Physique team has achieved a significant milestone by winning five gold medals at the World Fitness and Bodybuilding Championships. The event, which took place in Barcelona, Spain, featured participation from over 1,800 competitors from various countries.
According to Oman News Agency, the Omani team members delivered exceptional performances throughout the championship. Ahmed Al Hasani was a standout, securing two gold medals. His first gold came in the master's division for bodybuilding (weight above 95 kg, age group 40-44), and his second in the bodybuilding division (weight 95 kg).
Furthermore, Khalid Al Shukaili contributed to the team's gold medal tally by clinching first place in the bodybuilding division (weight 80 kg). Abdulmajeed Al Raisi followed with a victory in the physique division (height above 176 cm). The team's success was capped by Nasr Al Wahaibi, who won the gold medal in the muscular physique division.
