Muscat: The College of Nursing at Sultan Qaboos University has announced the renewal of accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs for the period spanning from Fall 2025 to Fall 2033. This renewal reflects the College's ongoing commitment to academic excellence, adherence to international quality standards, and the fostering of a culture of continuous improvement in education, learning, research, and community service. According to Oman News Agency, this outcome follows an international external quality assurance review conducted by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), headquartered in the United States of America. The renewal was subsequently approved by Oman Authority for Quality Assurance of Education on 27 March 2025. The reaccreditation affirms the quality and efficacy of the Bachelor's and Master's programs in preparing highly qualified nursing professionals equipped with the knowledge and clinical competencies necessary to meet the evolving needs of healthcare systems at both national and international levels.
