The Advisory Board of the GCC Supreme Council today held the 3rd meeting of its 27th session via video conferencing. During the meeting, the Advisory Board discussed reports submitted by committees entrusted with the following issues: (1) 'The status of energy security in the Gulf region amid the availability of technical alternatives and new systems'; (2) 'The need to devise a strategy to protect GCC youth against the risks posed by drug abuse and addiction' and (3) 'The importance of developing ways to preserve the growth of emerging markets in the Gulf region from negative developments affecting the global economy'.
