After demolishing five homes in Masafer Yatta, Israel informs another home of its imminent destruction

HEBRON, Following the demolition yesterday of five Palestinian-owned homes in Masafer Yatta in the South Hebron Hills, another house owner was informed today by the Israeli military of the imminent destruction of his home.

Fouad al-Imour, an activist in the south of Hebron, told WAFA that soldiers broke into the village of Sousia in Masafer Yatta and handed a local resident a notice informing him of the decision to demolish his 80-square-meter home. He was also ordered to stop work on a residential tent.

Yesterday, the Israeli military demolished five homes in various communities in Masafer Yatta.

Human rights organizations consider the imminent demolition of eight Palestinian communities out of 28 in Masafer Yatta and the forcible expulsion of more than 1000 of their residents in order to turn the area into a firing zone as a war crime.
