Muscat: Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, received Dr. Mesky Brhane, Regional Director for Sustainable Development in the Middle East and North Africa (MNA) region at the World Bank, in his office today. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the ministry and the World Bank in water resources, fisheries, and the blue economy in the Sultanate of Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, discussions during the meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration in these key areas to promote sustainable development. Both parties explored potential projects and initiatives that could be implemented to enhance the management and utilization of water resources, as well as to support the fisheries sector and the blue economy in Oman.
