He said: "These stances express a deep awareness and understanding of the plots and conspiracies by the Israeli enemy to ignite strife and create pretexts to expand its aggression against Lebanon and the Lebanese." Sheikh Al-Khatib concluded: "The position of the Resistance was clear and brave in this regard. This Resistance cannot target Arab villages and Arab citizens who still cling to their Arab Syrian identity despite all the pressures that the Zionist entity exerts on them."
