Manama, The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned and denounced the attack by extremist Israeli settlers on two Jordanian aid convoys carrying food and relief supplies to the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Abu Salem crossing and Beit Hanoun-Erez crossings, in a violation of international humanitarian law, international covenants, and all humanitarian and moral values. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Bahrain's solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and its appreciation for its humanitarian and diplomatic efforts in supporting the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people. The Ministry also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in implementing international resolutions related to the immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the need to protect civilians and humanitarian relief workers, increasing the flow of humanitarian and relief aid to the population in a complete, safe, sustainable and unhindered manner, as well as putting an end to the w orsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.
