The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the joint statement issued by the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Qatar, and the United States of America regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip. The joint statement calls for an immediate end to the ongoing suffering of the residents of the Gaza Strip, the hostages and their families, and the need to reach a ceasefire and an agreement on the release of hostages and detainees. The Ministry affirmed the Kingdom's firm position in support of all efforts aimed at reaching an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, protecting civilians, and releasing hostages and detainees, expediting the delivery of humanitarian aid without obstacles, and advancing efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East and establish an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
